First is an acting workshop led by Trent Reese on Saturday, May 18 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Registration is only $10 and can be paid on Saturday. But we would appreciate your registering by responding to this email.
Trent will be discussing all kinds of acting techniques for the novice and veteran alike, so come on down!
Then on Saturday night, our monthly Saturday Shorts will take place at 8:00 pm. This month's original play is Voice Mail Eulogy by Jeremy Frazier. Voice Mail Eulogy tells the story of Lauren and her loved ones through voice messages left on her phone after she has gone missing.
We'll also have a short staged reading called the amazing ms Glover volume 1 issue 3. And our short original film is entitled The Last Vampire.
Doors open at 7:30 pm and curtain is at 8:00 pm. Admission is $5 at the door by cash, credit card, or check. The evening is suggested for mature audiences only.
And finally, mark your calendars for The Laramie Project, which will be presented as part of our Late Night at the Lantern series on May 30, 31, and June 1 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, June 2 at 6:00 pm. Admission is $10 at the door. More info on this one as we get closer.
